Title: The impact of mobile for the cloud!

Abstract:Mobile-Apps are becoming more and more important for enterprises. A key factor is the integration into existing or new enterprise systems. This also leads to more and new requirements in regards to flexibility, scalability and adaptability of the backends.
Exactly these topics appear to be the sweet spot for cloud architectures and modern middleware technologies.
In the first part of the talk we will explore the impact of mobile solutions on today's middleware and cloud systems and talk about the things to keep in mind for using their potentials in the right way.
The second part of the talk will explore some of today's Java based technologies like Vert.x, Jax-RS and NO-SQL databases and see how they can be applied as building blocks for providing a possible mobile solution architecture to address the "new" challenges.

Bio: Wolfgang Frank is managing director of arconsis IT-Solutions GmbH from Karlsruhe, Germany. Since several years he works in the field of native iOS and Android development. As a coach for agile software development and architect for complex large scale enterprise systems he supports customers on all topics around mobile strategy and for building mobile gateway solutions to connect with the mobile world.
