Title: "Secure Coding and Common Pitfalls in Java"

Abstract:

Security should be an embedded concern in every team’s design process. But often times, teams get implementation details incorrect or decide on complex approaches when simpler out-of-the-box options exist. The JDK alone offers a wide variety of security APIs that can be easy to use (or abuse). We’ll cover general secure coding concepts, how they can be applied using the JDK, and some common issues and mistakes made by software devs.
